Sound doctrine is very important to God. His word instruct us to persevere, to hold fast to the doctrine that was given to the apostles. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 2 Timothy 1:13, 2 John 1:9-11. We can avoid apostasy (departing from the faith) by learning & searching the Words inspired by the Holy Spirit (the bible), and comparing them with what we hear from others. An absence of careful examination of the words of men in the church today is leading to a great falling away from truth.
" These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so" Acts 17:11

Sound doctrine is important because salvation comes only through repentance and faith in the one true Gospel of Jesus Christ. True salvation comes through true doctrine.

We are not trying here to accuse men, we don't question their motives, their personal lives, way of working, characters, etc. We just question their doctrines in light of the Scriptures, especially because they say they teach the Word of God and follow Jesus.

After much prayer and study, I decided share this information, to warn the bride of Christ of danger in this perilous times. We are not heresy hunters, some of the information here we knew many years ago and we kept silence, but unfortunately the problem has not gone away, on the contrary has been increasing and is affecting our family, friends & the brethren everywhere. Our silence didn't helped anyone. Judging seeks to criticize or condemn others, while exhortation and admonition (right judgment) seek to correct and restore them. Let us not forget to love one another, and to warn of danger is to love, even when you know they may reject you. We ought to love what our Lord loves but hate what He hates. He loves people, and we are to love even our enemies, but He hates evil, pride, idolatry, sin, lies, false doctrines, etc. (See Rev. 2:2-3, 2:6-12, Deut. 12:31, Psalm 97:10, etc.). Our Precious Lord Jesus is coming soon for a glorious bride, pure, without spot or wrinkle. He alone deserves all our devotion and service.
The ecumenical movement started with The Second Vatican Council, & still continues today, and this movement is looking to unite Evangelicals, Mormons, Presbyterians, etc. with the Roman Catholic Church, but besides teaching many unbiblical doctrines the Catholic Church is also uniting with other pagan religions. We need to be careful and ask ourselves is this really the will of God? or on the contrary may be the plan of the enemy for a One World Religion. (Rev. 13:6-8,12 & 15). The real purpose of ecumenism is to weaken the church that Christ died for, with destructive heresies & practices. The Lord doesn't want us to be naive or ignorant of the schemes of the enemy. Matthew 10:16
Contemplative Prayer
Some evangelical pastors and churches are openly ecumenical while some others don't recognize it publicly (yet). If you church is teaching Lectio Divina, Contemplative prayer (Communing Prayer -repeating a mantra), Spiritual Formation, *Heavenly portals, Mysticism, etc. or is associated with Catholics, ecumenical organizations or churches, then you church is in error or is becoming ecumenical. All these teachings have at their roots Catholic mysticism or New Age.
A growing number of Christian colleges, seminaries, and universities are also incorporating this mystical spiritual formation into classes and chapel programs.

The Roman Catholic document "DOMINUS IESUS"
(DI) was issued by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, at the time head of the
Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Carrying the full authority
of an official Vatican decree, it declares the Roman Catholic Church (which they said in same document is the church founded by Christ and the one true religion), to be the "universal sacrament of salvation" and the "instrument for the salvation of all humanity." DI was "ratified and confirmed" by then pope John Paul II on June 16th 2000.
But then this is the spirit of Antichrist!! I'm not saying the pope is the Antichrist, but that the denomination is operating in the spirit of Antichrist. The term Antichrist has 2 meanings:
1/ That which is against Christ, or
2/ that which counterfeits or takes the place of Christ.
If Jesus Christ says He is the only way to the Father, and the Word of God says there is no salvation apart from Him (Acts 4:12), then the Roman Catholic Church is not only contradicting the Word of God, but is also usurping the place that only belongs to Christ, and that is the spirit of Antichrist. We know well that Christians who don't get in this ecumenical movement or alliance will be called divisive, unloving, proud, narrow minded and possibly even be harassed & persecuted! Where is the Christian church sounding the alarm on this? ... It's being silenced by many wrongly believe that love with out God's Truth is Godly, or that it is unloving to discern & warn others. Many walk under the disguise of a 'love' which creates a false unity. They lay aside the truth of God's Word and compromise with false doctrines because they don't want to be controversial. True love warns people about false doctrines and calls it what it is to protect the sheep. True Godly and biblical love can be found in the ministry of the apostle Paul who never failed to warn the people whom he loved.

A very admired and well known Assembly of God pastor was David Wilkerson who believed in miracles, speaking in tongues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, he brought the Word of God to gangs in Bronx, N.Y., people that nobody wanted to witness to. God made many miracles in their midst. Pastor Wilkerson wasn't a cessationist, and before he passed away he gave us many warnings about the counterfeit Faith Preachers. See Video.

Sadly we also found that some Churches, organizations & colleges belonging for example to The Neo Calvinism- Reformed- (David Platt, Francis Chan, John Piper, Mark Driscoll, etc.); The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), Mike Bickle, Bill Johnson, Rick Joyner, Todd Bentley, etc.) & The Word of Faith (WoF) movements (Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, etc), (as well as some other organizations) are all involved with this ecumenical movement, they have links with one another, and are Dominionist or 'Kingdom Now' theology. Many of them had been warned & rebuked by other pastors, but still continue in their ways. The most painful part is all the people they are causing to fall away from the truth of the gospel.

-Heidi Baker in Bethel Church of Bill Johnson. (Repeating over and over a word is called Mantra in New Age, a technique used to enter into a “trance” or altered state of consciousness). She is a fan of Mother Theresa, her organization 'Iris Ministries' (Pastor Kris Vallotton is Director, & secretary Stacey Campbell) is the major component of Partners in Harvest, under the leadership of ecumenical apostles John and Carol Arnott” . She also organized the anointing ceremony for Todd Bentley at Lakeland, Florida and had worked with Bentley in Africa. Christianity Today (Billy Graham's magazine) explains that “One night, she had a vision of Jesus in which she literally ate his flesh and drank his blood.” The article further reports “Scholar McClymond describes Heidi as a ‘practical mystic, like Teresa of Avila.’” She and her husband form part of the Revival Alliance, with the Arnotts, Bill Johnson, Randy Clark, etc. all NAR. -Mike Bickle (NAR) Bickle founder of IHOP, is reported as having been a Catholic who became a Presbyterian (Calvinist). His "calling" began with a prophet named Augustine Alcala. Bickle has Catholic speakers at his conferences. He states "Everybody is called to live in the contemplative lifestyle. Everyone! Everyone! Everyone!" The manifestations of gold dust, feathers, gems, diamonds, oil, stigmatas, etc. seen in most of these churches reminds me of the manifestations seen in the Mary apparitions & worship, etc. of the Catholic Church.

There is a dispute that the Catholic Knights of Malta (SMOM) under the Vatican and the Masonic Ecumenical Knights of Malta are not the same one, but either way, they both come from the same historical roots (Catholic Crusaders), both recognize themselves as ecumenical, use the same symbols and both have Catholic members, Catholic bishops as leaders & Catholic representatives in their ceremonies.

In Rick Joyner’s website he admits he is a Knight of Malta.
He also found a group know as the Oak Initiative with Boykin, (Papanicolaou & some others). Boykin is a Grand Chancellor and Joyner the Grand Prior of the Carolinas . Both men are dominionist : Boykin: Church Called To Occupy. LTG (Ret) William G “Jerry” Boykin stated that when Jesus comes back, he will do so carrying an AR-15 assault rifle!! He is a regular commentator for Fox News, and is also Vice President of the FRC. See-Masonry in the Church?

If you disbelieve anything presented here, please follow-up by doing your own research, but don't just dismiss it as impossible or wrong. We understand how tragic is all of this and the serious threat this represents to the true Church of Christ. But also we realize our need to pray without ceasing for the church and also for the ones harming the church. There is no doubt that exist a counterfeit church that is being united by the ecumenical movement, & only by using the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will be able to set them apart.
Many of these church members without knowing (we were in that situation once), take their experiential views above the Scriptures. There is no mention in the Word of God of the superiority of our sensations, experiences or even the whisper we think is God talking to our hearts, over the authority of the Scriptures. All sensations, all insights, all "whispers in the heart" should be checked against Scripture. There is a reason why God besides sending us His Holy Spirit, also left us His Word. We can not embrace the movements of the Holy Spirit and reject the Words that He inspired.
Many leaders of these movements, as an excuse for not checking on manifestations, say: "For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life". 2 Cor. 3:6.
But they are using this verse out of context. It doesn't mean to put aside Scriptures and rely on sensations or feelings. That contradicts the Bible! The verse in context is talking about the letters written on tablets of stone, the law that condemns us of sin (which waves is death Rom. 6:23), the law could not saved us only gave us a death sentence, but now we are ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter (law) but of the Spirit (grace).
