Like Billy Graham & James Dobson, Rick Warren is also publicly friend with many Masons. Masons believe that Christians, Jew and Muslims, worship the same God but with different names.

Masons are Gnostics. Gnostic derived from the Greek word gnosis, meaning "to know." The term "gnosticism" refers to a movement in the 2nd century, a heretic movement that threatened the early church. Gnosticism claims hidden knowledge (esoteric knowledge) leads to salvation, that world (matter) is evil and that only the spirit is good, for that reason Jesus couldn't be Divine. Gnostics were divided on Jesus. One view held that he only appeared to have human form but that he was actually spirit only. The other view contended that his divine spirit came upon his human body at baptism and departed before the crucifixion (Kenosis). For that reason when I found out about a program called Sozo it got my attention. Bill Johnson's inner healing program 'Sozo' starts with the 'Father ladder' as the first step. Coincidentally the main symbol for the first degree, and Masonry in general is Jacob's Ladder. See picture of 1st degree masonic tracing board. Masons symbolically climb to heaven. Through it they are supposed to perfect themselves, degree by degree, until they are worthy of eternal life in heaven.
Sozo's 2nd step is called the 'Four doors'. Mason's 2nd degree tracing board & ceremony have 4 doors (Doors are #s 8s, 9 &10). The doors in the 2nd degree represent the opening to the Lodge, their interior journey & ascension of candidate. They also represent the four worlds: physical, soul, spirit & the divine at the summit of the stairs. (Masons believe 'man is a little god or a god in the making').
Sozo's 3rd step is called 'Presenting Jesus'. Mason's 3rd degree tracing board symbol and ceremony is about presenting Hiram Abiff (the masonic christ who was killed, buried and resurrected) a counterfeit of Christ's Sacrifice. Every 3rd degree mason in the ritual dies, is buried naked in a coffin and is resurrected or born again in Hiram Abiff, a pagan legend.
Could all these resemblances with Sozo and the first 3 degrees of Masonry be just coincidences? We can only find out if we imitate the good Bereans and compare Bill Johnson's doctrines with the Word of God, before getting involve in any of his ministries.

Most churches pastored by these leaders are full of manifestations that they call 'signs and wonders' that come from the Holy Spirit. But we need to be very careful and try the spirits as the Word of God says:

Many Christians don't know that to be slain in the spirit, or laying of hands, is seen in New Age teaching, and is related directly to the Hindu practice of the Shakti Pat that has been practiced for thousands of years:
